VEHICLE REVERSING CAMERA FOR THE MOTORHOME

I decided a reversing camera system in the Motorhome was a must!

But after checking the prices, I decided http://www.henrys.co.uk/cctv/rearviewcctvcamera.htm gave the most competitive prices

I did try fitting it to the outside but found rain water gave the same image as when fitted inside and the camera was losing all its paint work due to aluminium rust.

The camera went alongside my recently installed reversing light, on the inside of the rear window. It was pointed out to me that during wet weather the window would limit the cameras ability to give an image. This has not been a problem as most of the time I'm only interested what's behind me and not what type of car is behind me.

The Monitor was placed on top of the dash board with a bracket I made up. See the photos below.
The other bracket secures the 'Tom Tom 'Sat Nav'

Recent Motorhome critics have condemned the positioning of these addons. Restricting view through the windscreen. So, I shall be doing a modification soon, to alter the postioning.
