Vacuum pump situated on the near side of the engine

Vacuum pump situated on the near side of the engine.

The Red arrow indicates the water return pipe from the engine block to the Radiator Expansion tank.

The Yellow arrows indicate the 'U' shaped vacuum return pipe from the vacuum pump, which passes to the large black survo unit behind the brake fluid reservoir.

The Green arrow indicates the vacuum pump which is driven by the overhead engine parts.

The pink covering on the manifold breather return pipe was placed there to protect the pipe from chaffing on the bolt to the right side of it. Mine was showing bad wear due to engine vibration. So I taped it up. Like everything else it has become permanent.
